Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls
A heartwarming and adventurous tale for all ages about a young boy and his quest for his own red-bone hound hunting dogs. I don't want to spoil anything for you. This is such a beautiful story that's meant to be discovered and experienced fully. All I can say is that I couldn't put this book down and the times I did was to pull myself together after all the crying. This was such an emotional read and I don't think my life will ever be the same.

This past week, I've added two new things to my beauty routine. First, I started washing my face with a natural chamomile-based soap that I got at a local health store. It has only been a few days and my face has already started to improve. I don't have sever acne, only a few spots here and there. My main skin issue has been redness and scaring. With the use of this soap, I've noticed that my skin feels softer and looks smoother. It has also reduced the size of two spots I had across my cheek.
The second thing in my routine is an oil blend for my hair. I went to my local health store and bought a few oils (avocado, almond, castor) and mixed them with olive oil and coconut oil. I've been putting a little bit of this mix on my hair and it's so shiny and soft. I have quite an amount of hair and it is thick and long. But I had a bit of dryness and it became knotted very easily. So far, this oil blend has helped tamed those knots and has added a beautiful shine to my hair.
Before you say anything, let me start by saying that Hallmark movies are not as bad as people make them seem. I was very surprised by this cute movie. After her family goes bankrupt, a city woman travels to the country to fix up a struggling pumpkin farm that her father bought as an investment.
What I loved most about this movie is that the main character, Jenny was a fierce woman and even though she was delicate and girly she could fence for herself and was full of strength, resilience and a big heart.
