January is officially done! We are now way into February and the new energies and intentions for 2020 have started to settle in.
One of my main goals this year and more specifically for this new decade is to finally take control of my health.
As someone that has been battling Hashimoto's thyroiditis for seven years, being healthy is a dream. There is nothing I haven't tried- from medications, supplements, lifestyle interventions, diets, etc. But I always came out feeling defeated. And to be honest with you, it is exhausting.
Battling Hashimoto's at such a young age really took a toll on both my physical and mental health. But I decided to make 2020 the year I put the past behind.
This time I've decided to renew my life from all aspects. That's why it is so exciting for me to share with you about some of the tools and resources I am using to help support my biggest goal for this year.

The first step I took to jump-start my health journey was finding a way to filter through all the information available online. I am the type of person that loves researching and reading countless of websites, blogs, books and watching all the webinars and videos available.
But this process can get a bit overwhelming. There came a point where I couldn't process any more information about Hashimoto's: from contradicting theories, bogus claims, to old information, I became confused!

A couple of weeks ago, and by total coincidence, I got an email from Ultimate Bundles where they were promoting a thing called Women's Wellness Bundle. Just to be clear, I have received emails like this before where they promote these bundles, but honestly, I never clicked on them because I didn't feel like the topics being offered were interesting or beneficial to me.

So far, I am following a program for thyroid health and a course taught by Anna Renderer from POPSUGAR fitness. Even though it hasn't been that long, I can already see so many changes in my attitude and approach to health, self-care and wellbeing.
But there are over 12 categories and all are packed with ebooks, ecourses, audio and video lessons, workbooks, printables, planners, trackers and more!
At first I didn't know how to go about using the bundle but it was easy to get organized and figure it out.
The bundle has an option for you to download all the resources from all categories at once, or you can browse what interests you by topic or type of resource. I decided to download everything because as I said before, I was auditing the bundle before sharing it with you guys.
After I downloaded all the PDFs and Ebooks (once downloaded they are yours forever!), I decided to join the online courses. It took me about an hour to sign up to all of the lessons, but that's not necessary. You can definitely access them throughout the availability period and once you sign up for a course you get lifetime access to it -as far as I could tell, there was only one that had an expiration date-.
A word of advice: I followed this process because I wanted to get my money's worth. I had never purchased something like this before and I got really excited trying to access everything!
But I strongly suggest you use a planner to keep track of all the courses and resources and to take it slowly.
Don't enroll and try to do all of them at the same time. Doing one at a time is best to ensure that you really grasp the concepts, follow the suggested tasks and complete the workbooks as needed.
This is the best way to ensure that your are actually implementing the changes in your life and taking control of your health. Most of the courses are transformative and the knowledge you gain is meant to be applied to your daily lifestyle and routines.
