Welcome to a new edition of Friday Favourites. First things first. I took a little break from blogging after Blogtober because writing every day wore me out a bit. It was my first time doing a challenge like that and I'm happy I made it till the end. I just needed a couple of days to rest and regain my strength. But I've not been laying on the couch all the time, I was working behind the scenes to create new posts and some surprises that I'll be sharing during the holiday season, so stay tuned for that.
Okay, now let's get down to the reason for this post. Today I'll be sharing a mix of all the things I've been obsessed with the past few weeks. So without any more hesitation, let's take a look at my Friday Favourites.
thank u, next by Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande's latest single, thank u, next, is a chart-topping success and has become her first song to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. In the song, Ariana, talks about her previous relationships, and how heartbreak and hardship have shaped her into a strong women.
1999 by Charli XCX feat. Troye Sivan
I was only 8 years old in 1999 so I can't relate to the nostalgia of parties, high school and pop culture... but I would love to go back to a time when life seemed magical and things were more simpler. 1999 is a nostalgic call on the best year for many us, where life was easier and happiness was found in the simplest of things: having a blast with your friends.
I've been using this brush for the past few weeks now, so I can now tell you about the results I've gotten ever since. First, let me tell you a bit about the product. I was impulsed to buy it after seeing a YouTuber constantly use it in her videos. She always has amazing skin so I was curious to see if it would work on me.
I ordered one for less than $25 because I used a promo code from the YouTuber. I know there are high-end brushes that retail for over $100. This one has a normal price of $95, so it's not that cheap. According to the Duvolle™ website this brush: "deeply cleanse your skin with rotating movement to achieve cleaner and more vibrant skin over your whole body". The kit includes 4 interchangeable heads: 1 for facial exfoliation, 1 large brush for body cleansing, 1 brush for facial cleansing, and 1 pumice stone.
I've only used the facial cleansing brush and so far I'm really happy with the results. My skin texture has improved immensely and my skin looks smooth. I don't have acne breakouts like before. Even though I still have some scaring and redness, I feel using this brush has helped my face look more healthy and youthful. Remember that using a face cleanser that is appropriate for your skin type is going to make a difference.
I would totally recommend you give it a try. I'm not sponsored by Duvolle so I can't offer you any discount code, but a quick YouTube search for "Duvolle spin brush coupon code" will help you save some money.
Dotted Pink Notebook
2019 is just around the corner, and that means there are only a few weeks left to organize and straighten things before the new year. If you're like me, I like to start my year with a new planner and journal. Something about this feels therapeutic and it's like starting over with a clean slate.
I found this adorable pink notebook that is perfect for Bullet Journaling. It's an A5 size and has 180 dotted pages.
Doctor Foster is a British TV Series about Dr Gemma Foster, who suspects that her husband is having an affair. In her attempt to uncover the truth, Gemma discovers her life is not what she thought it was. Deceit, lies, corruption and violence haunt her every day.
This series is a must watch. It currently has 2 parts, 5 episodes each, with a run-time of around 1 hour per episode. I've binge watched the first 3 episodes from part 1, and I'm so hooked already.
