Friday Favourites #1
So many things have happened during 2020 that saying this year has been a rollercoaster of emotions is quite an understatement.
We have all been dealing with these events as best as we can. I know I've had days were I've felt hopeless and defeated. Other days are more positive and I've been able to take a step back and be grateful for all that I have.
Despite all the confusion, sad news, and life-altering events, I believe that the most important takeaway for all of this is that being appreciative and kind to others is the greatest thing we can do.
This appreciative mindset inspired me to relaunch my Friday Favourites series. I will be posting a monthly recap of all the things/events/people that have brought me a little joy. I plan to publish a new post on the last Friday of each month. If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see featured, please leave a comment down below.
So, without further ado, here is a recap of the things I've been cherishing during the month of November 2020.
Watching films and TV shows has been keeping entertained during this pandemic. I love discovering new things to watch so I recently started Teen Wolf on Netflix.
But my favourite release for November was without a doubt Taylor Swift's folklore: the long pond studio sessions. That was such a magical experience for me. I am so grateful for folklore. It is such a masterpiece and has been the soundtrack to my life ever since it was released.
My playlist this month is basically folklore on repeat.
Every now and then, I've been listening to some new music from Sam Smith, Little Mix, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus.
I also made a time capsule playlist with a mix of songs from Stevie Nicks, Crowded House, The Bangles and Annie Lennox.
I started this year with the intention of reading one book per month. Needless to say, I failed miserably. I've only finished two books.
I am currently reading Anxiety Elephants by Caris Snider and These Witches Don't Burn by Isabel Sterling.
I recently purchased the Naturium Retinol Complex Serum and the Naturium Niacinamide Serum. I am really excited to give these products a try. I will be doing an update once I have given them a proper try, so stay tuned.
I also purchased a refillable notebook and a checklist planner, in preparation for the new year. I want to start getting organized before 2020 is over.
Joe Biden was elected as the 46th President of the United States of America and Kamala Harris historically became the 49th Vice President.
