Best New Albums (Autumn 2017)

Autumn is my favourite season of the year. The colours, the chilly weather and all the fantastic food, make it the perfect time to enjoy cozy nights watching Netflix, reading a book or listening to great music.
In this post I want to share my personal selection of Best New Albums released this season.
1. Tell Me You Love Me by Demi Lovato
Release date: September 29, 2017
Listen on
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/2LGlGo4wHdPF2ZV1h0eX1A
Apple Music: Tell Me You Love Me by Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato Official Website: www.demilovato.com
Why I love this album:
Demi Lovato has matured and changed since the release of Confident two years ago. Her new album is full of her characteristic powerful and raw vocals. Each song has a different mood and melody. Full of soul and emotion, this story is a message of empowerment, love, sexiness and just having fun.
2. When Was The Last Time by Darius Rucker
Release date: October 20, 2017
Listen on
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/6SVzzB0SnMlBXcHsmhNxzC
Apple Music: When Was The Last Time by Darius Rucker
Darius Rucker Official Website: www.dariusrucker.com
Why I love this album:
This is Rucker's fifth country album. And as much as I love country music, the new stuff on the radio sounds generic and similar. But this new album is a wave of fresh autumnal air in the sense that it goes back to the sound of the country songs I fell in love with at first. It's perfect for cozy laid-back times. It's a retrospective journey with life touching messages in its lyrics.
3. Flicker by Niall Horan
Release date: October 20, 2017
Listen on
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/7ahctQBwcSxDdP0fRAPo2p
Apple Music: Flicker by Niall Horan
Niall Horan Official Website: www.niallhoran.com
Why I love this album:
Niall's debut album as a solo artist is full of acoustic melodies that tell a soft love story. A relatable journey into the heart of young relationships and its emotional waves, this record is Niall's way of expressing honesty in his craft and proving he is an artist all on his own. (Of course I still have hope for a 1D reunion!!!)
I hope you give them a listen and let me know if you liked them. Please share in the comments what are some of your favourite album recommendations.
Until next time.
